Helen Hayes, Gary Cooper. Hayes is magnificent as the English nurse in Hemingway's tragic romance. Film is fairly good, it's all gers. Parts of the story dealing with war are not as effective as the romance
A real old movie. I had a chance to see what the real old movie is like. This movie mainly focused on the love between Catherine and Fredrick, therefore we couldn't know anything about the War.
Still it was charming. And the Catherine's dying scene was marvelous. And I came to know Helen Hayes.
